Amy E. Wyss (born 1971) is a Swiss-American billionaire heir and philanthropist.
Early life and education
Amy Wyss is the daughter of Hansjörg Wyss, a fellow Swiss billionaire, and founder of the Wyss Foundation.[1][2] She graduated from Skidmore College, where she received a bachelor's degree in history and government.[3]
Career
Wyss served on the board of directors of Synthes from 2008 to 2012, when it was sold to Johnson & Johnson.[3][1] She co-founded the Twirl Toy Store in Taos, New Mexico.[2][3] She was also a co-founder of the Golden Willows Retreat, a bereavement center in Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico.[3] In 2007, Wyss and her husband, Ed Jaramillo, established the LOR Foundation.
As of October 2015, she had a net worth of US$1.85 billion.[1]

Wyss served on the board of trustees of the National Outdoor Leadership School and was a member of the board of directors for the Wyss Foundation[1] In 2007, Wyss and her husband, Ed Jaramillo, established the LOR Foundation, a grant-making organization dedicated to improving livability in rural communities across the Intermountain West through community-driven conservation.[1]
