History

AnaSpec acquired HiLyte Biosciences, a manufacturer of fluorescent dyes, in 2003.

In 2009 AnaSpec launched its new facilities in Fremont, CA.

In October 2009 Eurogentec acquired AnaSpec.

Community service

Since its move to Fremont in 2009, AnaSpec has focused on developing strong relations with the community. In December 2009, AnaSpec hosted a food drive for the Alameda County Food Bank. In February 2010, AnaSpec hosted a bone marrow donor drive for the Asian American Donor Program.
