Ana Sofía Gómez Porras (born in Guatemala City on 24 November 1995) is a Guatemalan gymnast who won the silver medal in the all-around event and the gold medal in balance beam Gymnastics at the 2011 Pan American Games.[1] She competed for Guatemala at the 2012 Summer Olympics.[2] In the individual women's all-around at the 2012 London Olympics, she qualified into the event in 16th, eventually going on to finish 22nd, with American gymnast Gabby Douglas winning the event. In 2013 she competed in World Cup in Ljubljana, Slovenia, she placed fourth on floor final, with final score 13.125.

In 2014 she went to Texas to improve her skills, before she went to compete in Croatia. When she qualified balance beam final in first place with 13.900, in the final she fell and got 7.300 in execution and 6.100 in difficult, she scored 13.400 in fourth place. In July she travel to Canada one month before her competition of the Pan American Championships of gymnastics. On August 30 she competed on all-around and she finished in 7th place with final score 54.100, and qualified in balance beam with score 14.050, was the most difficult exercise D score 6.300, and her final exercise she got 14.450, her execution was 8.250 and D score was 6.200. In October she participated in 2014 Artistic Gymnastic Championship held in Nanning, China, and she placed 43rd in All-Around qualification, she had some mistakes in each apparatus, she lost some points on balance beam her favorite apparatus with high difficult value, but when she returned in her country she said, well this is only the beginning of my career I have to work hard and train everyday and to execute each elements and will have good score in the next year, Glasgow is waiting for me.

In 2015 she trained in Canada almost two months previous of the competition of Pan American Games and she is one of the beautiful gymnast of Latin American and one of the best. In the qualification of the competition, she got a total 57.200, she qualified in the third position. start 14.250 in uneven bars, 14.350 balance beam, 14.000 on floor, and 14.600 vault, she qualified third in the all around final, but in the final she fall in the uneven bars and lost the bronze medal, and she qualified in 3 apparatus final, uneven bars, 6th place, balance beam 3rd and floor 6th, but in the final she fall in the balance beam finished in 7th place, and on floor final she had perfect lines and got bronze medal with 14.150, D. value 5.7 and E. value 8.450.
