Anahad O'Connor

Anahad O'Connor (born in New York City on May 23, 1981) is a reporter for The New York Times.

Biography

O'Connor, who has a degree in psychology from Yale University, joined the paper in 2003 and largely writes about science, health and national issues. He is also the author of the book Never Shower in a Thunderstorm: Surprising Facts and Misleading Myths About Our Health and the World We Live In, published by Henry Holt (Times Books division) in 2007. According to the book, he lives in New York City. O'Connor was also part of the first class of the New York Times College Scholarship Program in 1999. In his spare time he enjoys working out. He penned an obituary that called Greg Giraldo an "insult-humor" comic, which is one possible view of Giraldo's style of stand-up comedy.
