Anakkayam (Malayalam: ആനക്കയം) is a village and panchayat near Malappuram of Kerala, India.[1] Anakkayam is also one of the outgrowth of Malappuram city.
Location
Anakayam is located in the way from Malappuram to Manjeri. Kadalundi river is the main attraction of Anakkayam. Anakkayam bridge built in the '60s across Kadalundi river is the main landmark.
A Cashew Research and Development Center is located in Aanakkayam. Anakkayam was one of the battle places during the Khilafath uproar against the British rule.
