Anamika Saha is a Bengali film actress.[1]
Early life
Saha was born in Jessore, Bangladesh. Her real name is Usha. At the time of becoming a film actress, she took the name "Anamika" (meaning "anonymous", feminine). In 1971, Saha passed her Higher Secondary examination from Deshbandhu Balika Vidyalaya and was admitted to Scottish Church College, Calcutta. In 1973, when she was studying in college, she had her first chance to act in a film with Ashar Alo, directed by Sunil Bandopadhay. Het first major success in the film industry was Tarun Majumdar’s Sansar Simante, which was released in 1974.[2]
