Andergrove, Queensland

Andergrove is a locality in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[1]

History

The Andergrove State School opened on 21 February 1939.[2]

The Pioneer State High School opened on 28 January 1986. At that time, Andergrove was in the Pioneer Shire, which was amalgamated into City of Mackay in 1994.[2][3]

Geography

Andergrove has been steadily growing as a suburban community since 1990s and the housing stock is mostly low-set brick homes.[4]
