Andrés Eloy Martínez Rojas (born 23 June 1963) is a Mexican astronomer, scientist and politician affiliated to the National Regeneration Movement (formerly to the Party of the Democratic Revolution). He currently serves as Deputy of the LXII Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Morelos.[1] He has discovered around 10 supernovas and on 2010 he discovered the minor planet "2010 RJ137".[2]
