Andreas Cariolou (Greek: Ανδρέας Καριόλου; born November 24, 1982 in Egkomi) is a three-time Olympic windsurfer from Cyprus.[1][2] He accomplished thirteenth-place finishes at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, and at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but failed to qualify into the medal race. At his third Olympics in London, Cariolou improved further in the men's event, but suffered a disastrous performance in the sixth race, which affected his position in the overall rankings, and ultimately ended up in seventeenth place.
Cariolou is a member of the Nicosia Sailing Club, and is currently trained by Kostas Symionides.[2]
