Andrew Durutalo (born October 25, 1987) is an American professional rugby player[1] who currently is contracted to the Sunwolves, the first Japanese club in Super Rugby. Durutalo has been capped by the U.S. national sevens team and the United States national rugby union team.
Early life
Durutalo was born in New York City. He attended Suva Grammar School.[2] He graduated with a degree in Business administration from Hakuoh University in Japan.[3]
Professional career
After a successful spell with the USA sevens program, Durutalo signed with the Sunwolves for the 2016 Super Rugby season.[4]
International career
Durutalo captained Fiji's Under 19 rugby union team at the 2006 Under 19 Rugby World Championship.[5] He also represented Fiji's Under 21 team.
Duratalo was first capped by the United States in 2012 against Canada.[6] Durutalo played for the U.S. at the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.
