Andrew James Mendez Hooper (born 17 September 1945) is a former English cricketer. Hooper was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born at Denmark Hill, London.

Hooper made his first-class debut for Kent against Warwickshire in the 1966 County Championship. He made twelve further first-class appearances for the county, the last of which came against Sussex in the 1969 County Championship.[1] In his thirteen first-class appearances for Kent, he took 16 wickets at an average of 30.81, with best figures of 6/92.[2] These figures, which were his only first-class five wicket haul, came against Oxford University in 1969.[3] With the bat, he scored a total of 70 runs at an average of 7.77, with a high score of 35.[4]
