Androcymbium is a genus of perennial flowering plants first described as a genus in 1808.[2][3] It is native to Africa, southern Europe, the Middle East, and the Canary Islands. The genus has sometimes been included within Colchicum[4] but at present is recognised as a separate genus.[5]
