Andrew Steven "Andy" Brandt (born June 1, 1983)[1] is an American former professional ice hockey player. He played for the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL before returning to the club as an assistant coach.
Brandt graduated from Wausau West High School in 2001[1][2] and attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he played NCAA Division I college hockey with the Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team, scoring 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points, with 54 penalty minutes, in 130 games.
Brandt's professional career started in 2007 when he joined the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL after completing his senior year at the University of Wisconsin.[3]
