Andy Ibáñez Velázquez (born April 3, 1993) is a Cuban professional baseball infielder. He played for the Cuba national baseball team at the 2013 World Baseball Classic.[1] He plays for Isla de la Juventud in the Cuban National Series. He defected from Cuba on November 1, 2014, to pursue a career in Major League Baseball.[2]
