Angelique Burgos (also known as La Burbu,[1] born December 17, 1978) is a television host and actress.[2] She has been a model for the show No te Duermas ("Don't Fall Asleep"),[3] and was the winner of the reality show "Las Estrellas Bailan" in Pa' Que Te Lo Goces on Puerto Rico television. She is currently the host of the show "Pegate al Mediodia" on Puerto Rico's Wapa TV. And she is also a radio host, hosting the show "El Goldo y la Pelúa" from 3:00-7:00 pm Monday to Friday on La Mega 106.9 FM, alongside Jorge Pabón "El Molusco".
She released a book, Un grito de silencio in 2009, which describes her experience of being raped as a young child, in an effort to help other victims of abuse.[4]
She is married to basketball player Elías Larry Ayuso.[5] They have one son together, Saílh Elías, who was born on August 22, 2011. Also known as Red Red.
