Angove

Angove is an English surname. According to one source, the name is chiefly found in Cornwall and is of Celtic origin. Surnamedb.com suggests that the name is a compound of the definite article "an" i.e. the, plus the Cornish "gov", meaning smith. The name was thus originally occupational and denoted a metal worker.[1]
