Anilany helenae is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. It now occurs in a few strips of fragmented habitat near Ambohitantely in Madagascar. This species was transferred to the genus Anilany in 2016 from the genus Stumpffia, due to its genetic relationships and because it differs significantly in aspects of its morphology (the shape of the vomer, clavicles, and terminal phalanges of the fingers and toes).[1]
