Anisa Sayyed is a woman shooter from India who won two gold medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games[1] held from 3–14 October 2010 in Delhi, India. She won the first gold in 25m pistol event in pair with Rahi Sarnobat . She won individual gold with a score of 776.5. Anisa has also won the gold medal in SAF games in 2006. In 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow, she won Silver in women’s 25-metre pistol event.[2]

Early Life
She hails from Pune and is now settled in Faridabad in Haryana with her husband. She developed an interest in shooting when she was a NCC Cadet in her college. She was a former Indian Railways employee and was working as a Ticket Collector on the busy Mumbai-Pune railway route. She resigned from her job after being repeatedly denied transfer to her home town (Pune).
