Anita Gara (born 4 March 1983 in Budapest) is a Hungarian chess player who holds the FIDE titles of International Master (IM) and Woman Grandmaster (WGM). She is four-time Hungarian women's champion (2000, 2001, 2009,[1] 2013).

Gara played for the Hungarian team in the Women's Chess Olympiads of 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2012 and 2014.[2]

Her sister is WGM Ticia Gara.
