Ankap Wachanan (Quechua anka black-chested buzzard-eagle or eagle, wacha birth, to give birth[2][3] -p, -na, -n suffixes, "birthplace of the eagle", hispanicized spelling Ancapuachanan) is a small lake in the Waytapallana mountain range in Peru. It is located in the Junín Region, Huancayo Province, El Tambo District.[4] Ankap Wachanan is situated north of the lake named Ch'uspiqucha (Quechua for "fly lake", hispanicized Chuspicocha) and southwest of Ch'uspi ("fly", Chuspi).
