Ann Phoenix (born 27 March 1955),[1] is Professor of Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. She is ESRC Professorial Fellow for the Transforming Experiences research programme.[2] Her research focuses on psychosocial issues related to identity. She is Co-Director of the Thomas Coram Research Unit,[3] and Reader in Psychology for the Open University.

In 2014 Phoenix was elected a Fellow of the British Academy.[4]
