Anna Weber

Anna Weber (18141888)[1] was a Canadian fraktur artist and needleworker.

Born to a Mennonite family in Pennsylvania, Weber emigrated to Ontario with her family in 1825. Her artwork was heavily influenced by Mennonite themes such as the Tree of Life.[2] According to the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Weber was "the most original and prolific of Ontario's fraktur artists", which was particularly notable given the paucity of female fraktur artists.[3]
