Ansley Hoover Truitt (born August 24, 1950) is a former professional basketball player for the Dallas Chaparrals in the American Basketball Association (ABA). He played one season with the Chaparrals from 1972 through 1973. Truitt played college basketball for the California Golden Bears, where he was an All-Pac-10 first team selection in 1972.[1] He was drafted in the 1972 NBA Draft in the third round with the 41st overall pick by the New York Knicks.[2]
