Aomori Station (青森駅 Aomori-eki) is a railway station in the city of Aomori, Aomori, Japan, jointly operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the third sector railway operator Aoimori Railway.

History

The station opened on 1 September 1891.[1] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[1]
