Aonla is a city and a municipal board in Bareilly district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Demographics

According to the 2011 census of India, Aonla has a population of 55,629, including 29,231 males and 26,398 females. Schedule Castes (SC) constitute 7.56 % of the total population; there are no Schedule Tribes in the area.

Administration

Aonla is administered by a Nagar Palika Parishad (municipal body), for which elections are held every 5 years. The Parishad is divided into 26 wards.

Nagaria is the most famous village of Aonla town.Nagaia is situated near railway station, it is at a very little distance from oil depot.The population of this village is nearly 1500 according to 2011 census.The literacy rate is 80%.Most of the people are doing the job and some farmers.The majority of this village is Rajput's.There are only four caste in this village Rajputs, Dhobi, Harijan and Nai.
