The black-collared apalis (Apalis pulchra) is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family. Nguembock et al. (2008) moved species to a new genus, Oreolais, however most taxonomists continue with placement in Apalis. It is found in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, South Sudan, and Uganda.
