Apex Fund Services

Apex Fund Services is a global independent, fund administration company, with 35 offices worldwide.[1][2][3][4][5] It provides a range of financial services based on fund administration, fund launch solutions, financial outsourcing and technologies to provide a full suite of services for fund setup, portfolio valuations, fund accounting, shareholder services, corporate secretarial administration, directorships, and listing sponsorship.[4]

History

Peter Hughes founded Apex in Bermuda in 2003.[1][4][5][6] He is the owner and Chairman.[4] Before Hughes founded Apex, he was chief financial officer, accountant and business developer of FMG Fund Managers Limited at FMG Combo Fund from 2000-2003.[4] Peter qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Apex has $45 billion in assets under administration and nearly 600 employees in 35 offices across the globe.

Fund administration services

Apex provides a turnkey solution set that spans from front office, middle office, and back office, as well as emerging manager services, specialized reporting and fund formation.[1][2][3][4][6][7][8] Apex has multiple platforms to support managers that range across offshore Cayman funds and UCITS, to local domiciled funds and specialized funds that observe and comply with local Islamic banking regulations.[8][9]
