"Aphomia" fuscolimbellus is a species of snout moth in the genus Aphomia. It was described by Ragonot in 1887.[1] It seems to be described from North America, but the origin of the species is unknown.
Taxonomy
Morphological research indicates that the species does not belong in Aphomia as currently defined, but its placement is unknown. Furthermore, it likely does not occur in the Western Hemisphere despite the original description (America septentrionalis) and specimen label indicating otherwise.[2]
