Aphysoneura pigmentaria, the Bamboo Painted Ringlet or Bamboo Ringlet, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.[2] The habitat consists of the bamboo zone of montane forests.

Adults are on wing year round.

The larvae feed on Sinarundinaria alpina, Oxytenanthera abyssinica and Festuca africana.
