Appsee was funded with a $1M (USD) investment from Giza VC and a group of Angel Investors. The two co-founders are Zahi Boussiba, currently CEO and Yoni Douek, currently CTO.[2]
Technology
Appsee is a SaaS powered in-app mobile behavioral analytics platform that allows app developers to see user behavior in real time. It has been cited as one of the first mobile analytics suites to offer this capability as well as video recordings of user sessions.[3]
Appsee is implemented via an SDK within the app. The platform is both qualitative and quantitative, and captures all user actions, however is transparent to the user. The platform purportedly assists developers in improving the user experience.
Notable features of the Appsee platform include:
- User Video Recordings
- Touch Heatmaps - record user touch gestures and relays the information visually.[4]
- Crash Recordings - Sessions that crash are detected and video recordings are provided from the user's point of view.
