Arab Liberation Party
The Arab Liberation party (Hizb Al-Taharor Al-'Arabi) (Arabic:حزب التحرر العربي) is a Lebanese political party with considerable support in the city of Tripoli (Trablos), North Lebanon. Its membership is mainly Sunni Muslim.
Led by former Prime minister Omar Karami, the party is part of the March 8 Alliance, and is allied to Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement. The head of the party is Faisal Karami, son of Omar Karami.[1]
It failed to win any seats in the Lebanese parliament in the general elections.[2]
