Ararankha (Quechua for a little lizard,[2] hispanicized spelling Araranca) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Olleros District. Ararankha lies southwest of Tuqtu and northwest of Yanarahu. It lies north of the Ararankha valley.[1]
