Archibald Lush
Sir Archibald Lush (1898 or 1899 – 1974) was a Welsh school inspector. He was educated at Tredegar Grammar School and Jesus College, Oxford. He was County Youth Organizer for Monmouthshire from 1940, before serving as Chief Inspector of Schools for the county from 1944 to 1964. He was then Chairman of the Welsh Hospital Board, and was knighted for social services to Wales in 1969.[1]
