Architectibranchia is a clade of marine snails, gastropod mollusks.
It has been originally established containing the superfamilies Acteonoidea, Ringiculoidea, and Diaphanoidea.[2][3]
2005 taxonomy
Architectibranchia has not been used in the taxonomy by Bouchet & Rocroi (2005)[2] and this taxon name has been listed as an available name.[2]
2009 taxonomy
Clade Architectibranchia has been reinstated by Malaquias et al. in 2009[4] and they have limited the taxon to Acteonoidea and Ringiculoidea.[3]
There are five[4] families within the clade Architectibranchia and they include:
2010 taxonomy
Taxon Architectibranchia is not expicitely mentioned in the molecular analysis by Jörger et al. (2010).[5] Some of its members has been included: Acteonoidea have been moved to Lower Heterobranchia.[5]
