JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal published by the American Medical Association. It was established in 1999 as the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery and obtained its current title in 2013.[1] It publishes original, peer-reviewed articles addressing all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the head and neck.

The journal was an official journal of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (a speciality society of the American Medical Association) and the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies until it changed its name.[2] The editor-in-chief is John S. Rhee (Medical College of Wisconsin). According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2013 impact factor of 1.600.[3]
