Ardelt Project

The Ardelt Project consisted of arming a Waffenträger (weapon carrier) with the 88mm Pak 43 L/71 gun. The tank was to be manned by four crew members. One vehicle saw action in April of 1945, near Berlin at Brandeburg with 3rd Panzer Jäger Abt. attached to Infantry Division "Ulrich von Hutten". Today. this vehicle is on display at the Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia.
