Ardian Cuculi (born 19 July 1987 in Kichevo) is an ethnic Albanian football player from the Republic of Macedonia, who is currently playing for Shkëndija in the macedonian superleague and the Macedonia national team.[2][3] He also holds Albanian citizenship.[4]

Aside from football he is also a law graduate after gaining his degree in January 2010 from The FON University.[5]

Career

Shkëndija

Cuculi went on trial at Croatian club HNK Rijeka in the summer of 2012 but returned to Shkëndija for the 2012-13 season.[6]

He was named in the 2013-14 Macedonian First League team of the year while at FK Shkëndija[7]

Partizani

Cuculi followed coach Shpëtim Duro on his way out of Shkëndija to Albanian Superliga side Partizani Tirana ahead of the 2014-15 season.[8] He made his debut for the club on 24 August in week 1 of 2014–15 Albanian Superliga against KF Laçi, helping his team to get a 1–1 away draw.[9] Cuculi scored his first goal with Demat e Kuq on 5 November in first match of second round in 2014–15 Albanian Cup against KS Lushnja, he scored the goal in 79th minute from a direct free kick.[10][11] He was the team's capitan for this match.[10]

International career

He made his debut with Macedonia on 26 May 2014 in a friendy match against Cameroon, entering in the field in 26th minute after injury of Goran Popov; Macedonia went to lose the match 2–0.[12]
