Ariclenes da Silva Ferreira (born 11 December 1985 in Fortaleza), commonly known as Ari (Brazilian Portuguese: [aˈɾi]), is a Brazilian striker who plays for FC Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League.

Club career

With Spartak Moscow in 2013

Ari played with Allsvenskan team Kalmar FF. He was the top scorer in the Allsvenskan 2006 with 15 goals, one more than compatriot Afonso Alves had scored the previous season. Therefore AZ signed him for a reported £3.4 million (€5 million). In Alkmaar Ari struggled to establish himself and ultimately struggled to force his way into the first team on a regular basis.

In January 2010 Ari was transferred to Spartak Moscow for €3 million.[1]

On 19 August 2013 he signed a 3-years contract with FC Krasnodar.[2]

International career

He indicated that he would play for Russia national football team.[3]
