Aria Systems is an American software company based in San Francisco, California. Their software is built for enterprises with a focus on recurring revenue and subscription billing.

History

Aria Systems was founded in Pennsylvania by 5 professionals,[1] all of whom previously worked for LaserLink.net (an Internet Service Provider), which was acquired by Covad Communications Group in 2000.[2]

In 2008, Aria Systems raised $10 million in Series B funding, led by Venrock.[3]

In 2009, the company moved its headquarters to Silicon Valley; completed SAS 70 Type II certification; achieved Level One PCI Compliance;[4] and published "Subscription Billing for Dummies".[5]

In 2011, Aria Systems closed a Series C investment round of $20 million, led by InterWest Partners.[6]

In 2012, Tom Dibble was appointed Aria Systems' new president and CEO,[7] and the company more than doubled recurring billings and revenue compared to the same period in 2011.[8]
