Arikesari Maravarman was a Pandyan king who ruled the ancient Tamil kingdom between 670 and 710. He was the successor of Jayantavarman (640 – 670).[1] Arikesari was succeeded by his son Kochadaiyan Ranadhiran.

Conquests

He is credited with having defeated the Chera king in multiple battles.[2] He also subjugated the recalcitrant Parathavar of the coastal areas and the inhabitants of the Kurunadu.[1]
