Arilena Ara (born 17 July 1998), sometimes known as simply Arilena, is an Albanian singer. She is the winner of season 2 of the Albanian X Factor.

Career

Arilena Ara was born in Shkodër. She first participated in Gjeniu i Vogël ("Little Genius"), a talent-singing contest for children and placed third in the competition.

After her father's death, she took part in season 2 of Albanian X Factor broadcast from 28 October 2012 to 31 March 2013 on TV Klan. She auditioned in Tirana performing an acoustic version of Ana Johnsson's "We Are". She was mentored by judge Altuna Sejdiu in the "Girls" category. In the final, she sang Mary J Blige's "No More Drama" and Rihanna's "Man Down" and "S&M" as a duet with her coach Tuna winning the season.Now she is in TV Show called "Dance With Me " 2. Her partner is Labi (an Albanian journalist best known for "Nje kafe me Labin" or "One coffee with Labi").[1] On 26 February 2014 she released her first single and video "Aeroplan",[2] becoming a chart topping hit in Albania. After her sucsses with her first song "Aeroplan" which had 2.000.000 milion views for 12 hours, her new hit "Bussines Class" had 1.000.000 milion views for 9 hours. Now very soon she will be present her third song called "Vegim" (stay tuned).
