Arizona–Mexico League
The Arizona–Mexico League is an independent baseball league scheduled to begin in 2017. It is the third version of the baseball league.
History
The Arizona–Mexico League began as a low-level circuit in American minor league baseball that existed as an affiliated Class C league from 1955–58.[1] The Arizona–Mexico League was the successor league of the Arizona–Texas League which existed from 1928–32, 1937–41, 1947–50 and 1952-54.[2] From 1928 to 1930, it was known as the Arizona State League.
A second version of the Arizona–Mexico League was formed in 2003 as an independent league. Four teams played 16 games before the league voted to disband due to financial difficulties.
