Arlington (formerly, Arlington Place)[2] is a former unincorporated community now annexed to Riverside, in Riverside County, California.[1] It lies at an elevation of 791 feet (241 m).[1]

Arlington is located 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of downtown Riverside.[2]

The place was established in 1875.[2] The Arlington post office opened in 1881, changed its name to Arlington Place in 1891, and back to Arlington in 1900.[2] The name "Arlington" was chosen by election.[2]
