Armando Marenzzi (born 16 March 1963) is Croatian football manager and former player. He played for NK Šibenik, FK Spartak Subotica and HŠK Zrinjski Mostar.

Club career

He started his career in NK Šibenik, where he played for 25 years (including youth career). In summer 1988 he moved to FK Spartak Subotica where he made his debut in the Yugoslav First League, however during winter break he returned to Šibenik playing back then in the Second League all the way until the 1992[1] when the club became part of the newly formed Croatian First League. He had a spell in the Greek second division with Panargiakos F.C. during the 1995–96 season.[2]

In December 2001 he moved to Zrinjski.[3] He was known for his tireless work and also for helping the young players. He was one of the best players of Zrinjski, and captain of the team. In seasons 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 he was club's best striker. He was also very loved by club supporters. After finishing his playing career, he committed himself to a managerial career. Today, he is manager of small Croatian club Krka. In autumn 2008, he got UEFA PRO coaching license. His big wish is that one day he becomes manager of NK Šibenik and HŠK Zrinjski Mostar, two clubs where he spent his playing career.[4]

Of Italian descent, his surname is also spelled as Marenci or Marenzi in the media in the territory of former Yugoslavia.
