Array factor

An array factor is a set of N identical antennas which face the same direction and follow a similar pattern. Essentially, an array factor is used to define an antenna array.[1] Advantages of this technique includes being able to combine multiple antennas to allow for a greater flexibility in transmitting or receiving signals.[2]
