Arthur Lubow

Arthur Lubow is an American journalist best known for his 1992 biography The Reporter Who Would Be King: A Biography of Richard Harding Davis (ISBN 0-684-19404-X), and as a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine Smithsonian, and Inc. His work at Inc. focuses on entrepreneurs involved in the food and wine industries.

Career

After Lubow graduated from college, he spent a year at Cambridge University where he studied British cultural history of the Industrial Revolution.

Lubow also wrote a short biography of British folk singer Nick Drake, which was included in Drake's 1979 CD boxed set Fruit Tree.

He has also worked as a staff writer for Newsweek, People Magazine, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker.[1]

Lubow lives in New York City.[2]
