Arthur Maia is the second solo album recorded by the Brazilian bass player Arthur Maia. The album is also known as Sonora, which is the first song of it, and was well criticized by professionals around the world.[1][2]

Its releasing show happened in Canecão, Rio de Janeiro. The public filled all that place and the bassist was very acclaimed that night. Then, Maia made a tour in Europe and Japan for divulging the album. He also played in Town Hall, New York, during Brazil-New York Jazz Festival.[1]
