Artrage (Western Australia)

Artrage is a not-for-profit charitable institution with a mission to enrich the cultural fabric of Perth, Western Australia. Artrage is Western Australia's longest running not-for-profit arts organisation[1] established in 1983.[2] Originating as an alternative to the Perth International Arts Festival,[3] Artrage has evolved into a key production company supporting contemporary culture in Western Australia.[4] Since its inception, Artrage has presented tens of thousands of artists and performers to audiences of hundreds of thousands[5] through various artistic endeavours.

Artrage produces the annual multi-arts fringe festival Fringe World and Rooftop Movies.

The Bakery

The Bakery is a live performance venue, exhibition space and music venue[6] in Northbridge, Western Australia. Artists who have performed at The Bakery include Jamie XX,[7] Damo Suzuki,[8] SBTRKT [9] and Tame Impala.[10]

After operating for 13 years Artrage announced in 2015 that the venue would close permanently on 9 May 2015.[11]
