Arvind S. Nadkarni

Arvind S. Nadkarni (1931 – May 20, 2008) was a Kannada poet from Andheri, who was awarded the Karnataka Sahitya Akademi for his work 'Atma Bharath'. He was president of the Kannada Savitya Sammelana held in Madikeri, Kodagu.

Arvind was born in Bankikkodla. He completed his high school diploma (1946–47) from the A. H. School and his B.Sc. degree from Ruparel College of Matunga, Mumbai. Nadkarni had owned a small consulting business and managed the hospital in Mumbai where his wife was a physician. Nadkarni died in Mumbai.
