One of the clans of the Tikriwals, a division of Swatis, of the eastern spurs of the Black Mountain of Hazara,

Majority of Ashror are based in Town of Tikri, Tehsil & District Batagram in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Ethnically, Pakhtun tribe, Ashror, furthermore is divided into other sub-casts such as Durkhani,Mullahkhel,Khankhel,Daloor,Sharmakhel etc.
